Objective of Forming the Electoral Club

  • Organize various events and student activities as desired by the Election Commissioner of Punjab/Deputy Commissioner of Punjab/Tehsildar Election of Patiala. 🎉
  • Encourage young voters about their voting rights through various student activities on campus. 🗳️
  • Assist students and other staff in enrolling and obtaining their voting ID cards through the online portal. 💳
  • Attend various meetings conducted by the Deputy Commissioner's office. 📅
  • Participate in various competitive events organized by the Election Commissioner of Punjab. 🏆
  • Arrange training facilities for campus ambassadors and nodal officers. 🎓

Election Process in our club:

Here’s the complete flow of the electoral process in Punjab Starting From Level 1 to Level 6:

1. Election Commission of Punjab

  • Oversees and manages the entire electoral process in the state.
  • Holds the highest authority in ensuring fair and transparent elections.

2. District Commissioner of Patiala

  • Coordinates election activities within the Patiala district.
  • Reports to the Election Commission of Punjab.

3. Tehsildar Election

  • Responsible for election administration at the tehsil (sub-district) level.
  • Works under the supervision of the District Commissioner.

4. Nodal Officer

  • Serves as a point of contact for election-related matters within a specific area or institution.
  • Collaborates with the Tehsildar Election to ensure smooth election operations.

5. Campus Ambassador

  • Promotes voter awareness and registration among students on college campuses.
  • Acts as a liaison between students and election officials.

6. Students

  • Eligible voters who exercise their right to vote in the elections.
  • Receive information and guidance from Campus Ambassadors and election officials.
